2023 Youth Legacy Registration Forms



The Youth Legacy Challenge provides an opportunity for young blues musicians to develop and showcase their talent in a really big way, and we hope to continue in 2023.  The winning performers will be offered the chance to perform on the YNC Stage of the Kitchener Blues Festival in 2023 and in addition have a song recorded in a studio with a producer arranged by Kitchener Blues Community, Inc. 

2023 Competition Details:

- Requirements: 
- Must be under 21 years of age.
- Artists can perform solo or as a group.  
- Blues based performance, 30 minutes in length
- Deadline for submission to be determined
- Sequence of performance selected by lottery
- Drum kit provided
- Points awarded for musical/vocal talent and musicianship, choice of Blues material, presentation, stage presence, entertainment value and audience response.
